fished saturday and finally got a limit in saginaw bay slow most of the day but finally... i smacked 4 fish in a the hour before and the hour after dark. lost a couple of screamers that peeled line like crazy. everything was caught on a chartruse do jigger, they wouldnt hit anything else for me. in that same time period i lost around 10 fish that were short hits and just pulled the minnow off.

shore ice is starting to go south tho this comming weekend may be your last chance to go all shore ice was good but with the temps that are on the forecast it wont last much longer. plenty of ice still out on the fishing grounds 18 inches where i was at almost out to the spark plug and then off of sunset marina

Some nice fish there. I have to say ya got some bigger hangers than I I put my gear up last week. My final trip came after a trip to the fishing show in Birch Run, hit them real good at the mouth but the ice was quite shaky.
