Took the wife and kids to 40th st. for a romantic afternoon of pike fishing. We did 3 Pike in about an hour then my oldest daughter, who was learning to ice skate, fell and broke her ankle. That was the end of the trip. The Pike action was the best between 4:00 and 5:00 pm on large emerald shiners.

OUCH! Sorry to hear that, however... I am touched that even in the face of a tragically broken ankle to a loved one... you still managed to pull out a solid fishing report!!
